New advance announced in reducing 'bad' cholesterol

The scientists have characterised an enzyme called IDOL ( E3 ubiquitin ligase-inducible degrader of the low density lipoprotein receptor) that plays a key role in regulating the amount of LDL receptor available to bind with 'bad' cholesterol.
