Baby mice infected with influenza , or with a protein from
Helicobacter pylori , are protected from
asthma in adulthood. Sometimes, early infections , in young animals can be beneficial. (
Flu infection in adult mice did not protect against asthma).
This may parhaps lead to preventive strategies in relation to allergies.
