Scientists outline steps toward Epstein-Barr virus vaccine

The Epstein-Barr virus has been associated with infectious mononucleosis, a disease characterized by swollen lymph nodes, fever and severe fatigue and with several cancers, including Hodgkin lymphoma and stomach and nasal cancers as well as with muliple sclerosis. A reliable vaccine would be an  important development.
