Inhibition of herpes simplex virus type 1 reproduction by probiotic bacteria in vitro

Supernatants of cultures of Lactobacillus species. and Enterococcus species, unlike those of E.Coli, have antiviral activity against herpes simplex. Could yogurt help prevent herpes viral replication- and the diseases associated with the virus - including Alzheimer's disease ?
