Randomized Trial of Oral Teriflunomide for Relapsing Multiple Sclerosis

This is teriflunomide which inhibits pyrimidine synthesis by blocking the enzyme dihydroorotate dehydrogenase  Other inhibitors of this enzyme are broad spectrum antivirals with activity against
 influenza viruses A and B, Newcastle disease virus, and vesicular stomatitis virus; Sindbis virus, hepatitis C virus, West Nile virus, and dengue virus, vaccinia virusand human adenovirus and HIV Hoffmann et al, 2011
