Melatonin delays onset, reduces deaths in mouse model of Huntington’s disease

Melatonin is a serotonin derivative See Kegg: Type 1 melatonin receptors are found on mitochondria, which supplies energy for the cell: These are depleted in  Huntington's brain samples.
This pathway links in with the kynurenate pathway, also implicated  in Huntington's disease.
