KEGG: Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes
The KEGG database, freely available since 1995, has been extremely useful in analysing complex datasets from gene expression or genome wide association studies and is used by many in the field- free of charge. The Kanehisa laboratories are now raising funds to support its continuation.
