Rochester Autism Researchers Present New Findings At IMFAR

Findings from this conference include:-
Two-thirds of children with autism are taking dietary supplement supplements, twice the rate in the general pediatric population: Several nutrients in these supplements - folate, niacin and vitamin A exceed recommended levels. Such self- or parentally administered vitamins or supplements could in fact be harmful.
Food dyes had little effect on atutism risk, although yellow dyes were associated with sleep disorders.
