A cure for Huntington's disease ?

The mutant protein in Huntington's disease and other polyglutamine disorders (spinocerebellar ataxias, Dentatorubropallidoluysian atrophy, Kennedy disease) aligns with immunogenic proteins from very common phages and viruses. Antibodies to these phages and viruses could also target the mutant human protein, killing the cells where it is expressed by autoimmune activation. This suggests that immunosuppressants might delay the onset and prevent the progression of these diseases.
